Actually, I think, I learned a lot in this course. Something measurable and unmeasurable, visible and invisible. But if I want to mention two miningful thing that I learned durig this course I would like to write about these two issues, how people learn and curse disign spicialy for distance education.
I think knowing and getting knowledge about the ways of learning is an importan issue for education students and it is a basic knowledge that is required for every teacher so this course improved my knowledge about how people learn? Actually my personal theory of learning was not too different from those theories which I learnd in this course but these theories were more structured and helped me to make sure about my opinions. For instance, I believed that the best learning will happen when people do some thing actually this is how I learn . I think learning in most of the people is the same so is not difficult to know how people learn but I needed some structured theories.
furthermore, I think I learnd a lot of tips and tricks during my course designing which can help me in my next semesters. For example, I learned some teaching strutegies, I learned what is an e-poster, how can make link in power point, how can create a website, blog, and wiki. And more important thing is that at the moment, I have some knowledge about the ptinciples of distance education such as clear learning porpuse, objectives and outcomes, interaction in DE, motivation, and using variety of media.

My Short Course Instructional Strategies
Generally, I decided to use social instructivism method in my short course, specially directive teaching becuase I thought it can be suitable for my audience to get the idea.
In lesson 1, I provide a video for learners to abserve and compare effective and ineffective teacher. Actually, in lesson 1, inductive strategy is used to effective and ineffective teachers be recognized by learners to realize who is an effective and who is an ineffective teacher.
furthermore, in this lesson diductive strategy is applyed to be compared these two kinds of teachers by learners. And to be realized also by learners that which kind of teachers can affect effectivelly and achieve the learning objectives.
deductive approach: General rule → Specific examples → Practice
inductive approach: Specific examples → Practice → General rule
And also an indirective teaching strategy is used to be recognized the effects of two kinds of teachers by learners. Actually watching the video and comparing will help them to know how can become more effective teacher because video can be a pattern and showes the problems in an ineffective teaching.
In lesson 2, 3, and 4, a directive teaching strategy is applyed and learners are expected to do not be passive in learning process because they are adult and engage in their job, so they can apply their learning in their profession. Thus, in these three lesson some texts are exposed for learners and they are asked some questions to answer from the text or their own.

Assessment
It will be a summative assessment and I will use microteaching method(Invented in the mid-1960's at Stanford University by Dr. Dwight Allen)for assessing. Indeed, they should make a 20 minuets video from their teaching ina class before a few students and attach the file and send it to my email. After that I will evaluate the videos depends on outcomes and then they will be put on the website and learners will be asked to watch their peer videos and evaluate eachother up to a rubric that will be provided. actually, they have to support eachother and give some feedbacks.
In addition they should type a reflection of their work.(no more than 1000 words)

Learning In New Wiki
this new wiki is a reach context for learning because it has several dimension and is not just writing some information as a text. Abservation via videoes and categorize my knowledge in activites can help me to learn more in this wiki. Actually,watching video makes more sense and also helps me to emerge more ideas about the subject. Taking part and dicussion in activities and matrixes requiers me to think and investigate about some concepts.

This presentation had been organized nicely by this group.Near half of their presentation was with discussion which engaged the learners to participate and collaboration.further more the power point was very clear, text very obstract and involve main points.Also they impeliment some new ideas in their work and I think it was such a creative work that they did.I would like to appreciate their work.

Assessment With Assignment!
Is it possible for insructor to assess learners with an assignment?
In my opinion, it is posible if the assignment be individually and also be compeleted during the course, step by step, even at the same pace with course topics to show the student advancement during the course . For instance, these days we have new wiki for PXGT6308 which is individually assignment . So we can participate in our pace and with various ideas. Indeed, I believe that an assessment must be individual to be clear for instuctor the progress of learners. Overall, some asynchronouse contexts such as wiki and blog can help the instructor to assess learners.

Asynchronous or Synchronous Assessment?
This week we had a presentation obout how to assesst in DE?
It was clear to me because presenters followed the text book and I had read it.During this presentation and after that we talked about synchronous and asynchronous assessment in DE, and which one is more effective in DE assessment.It can be correct that both of them are useful for assessting students depends on instructor's aims but I have different view.In my point of view, an asynchronous assessment is like an assignment because learners have enough time to come up with it, so it is better to call it assignment instead of assessment.Indeed, I think, for assessment it is better to use synchronous for measurment of knowledge and skills in learners.

The Happiest Presentation
It was a fun, happy, and exciting presentation which was presented by Patricia and Khor.I think, they had an effective introduction and could make the audiens intrested in their work. At the biginning, they show learners three movies that it was a little strange because I didnot know what is their mean! But later, I realized that the main aim was to absorb the attention of learners. As khor said, " It was such a trick to keep the audience absorbed for the rest of the presentation.
On the other hand, they lost the management of the time that was their work's matter.Unforgetable part of their presentation was debat on pros and cons about online learning becuase it was interactiveity and brain storming.Overall, presenters did a good and different work.

Brain Storming in DE
On thursday, I had DE class same as other weeks and I surprized how Dr.Tee with many problems and busy mind came to the class and managed as well as last weeks.
In this class we had a discussion about strength and weaknesses of brain storming in DE.Some of students were agree with strengths, and some of them were disagree.But I think there are more weaknesses for brain storming strategy in DE. Becuase brain storming is a group activity technique disigned to generate a large number of ideas for the solution of a problem.In deed, we can have weak group working in DE becuase of some limitations in technology.(What is your comment?)
In the other words, I think, we can have an efficient brain storming in F2F classes because we have students beside eachother which will enhance the brain storming. Whereas, in DE we cannot have this condition .Perhapse, in future, improvment in DE technologies will affect on this issue.(Maybe I am rong, and also maybe I change it with pass of the time and more study.)

First Class After Chinese New Year
We had a little different class yesterday which was the first class after a week break and totaly the fourth. When I got in class ,I didnt see Dr.tee near his table and instead of him hana and iza
were preparing . Yes they wanted to present about underestanding distance education learners.
they began their peresentation with showing and comparing our results in their questionnaire.It
was a good presentation with nice collaboratin.I had never seen a presentation with two presenters.In my opinion, the highest point of their work happend,when they asked us to work in group around our desks about solutions for some distance learner's problems.After their presentation Dr.tee went on with a releated discussion about how to engage learners in distance which I think it was an intruduction for discussion about what is happening in our wiki space.So we made a circle to discuss with eachother depend on why participation in wiki is low so far.The main problem was about the lack of time.in deed, I agreed with Normie's opinion which wiki is a repeat of forum but it can help us to be more familiar with wiki and how we can apply it for DE.
So our class had three parts yesterday,include of a presentation,lecture,and discussion.
